Steve St. John is Vice President of Consumer Direct Lending of HomeSimply. With 24 years of mortgage industry experience, he has established himself as a proven leader and trailblazer in the industry. Throughout his career, he has led teams at large banks, small banks, and independent mortgage companies, providing the organization with a diverse background of experience. Steve has led large mortgage loan officer teams across the country spanning 50 plus team members. Throughout his career, he has experienced massive change in the mortgage industry as technology becomes more prevalent each day. Steve believes that people drive the experience and business. He believes that technology is a must for consumers today, but not a replacement for experienced individuals that assist a customer through the complex mortgage market it is today. He is a servant leader to his team, removing obstacles each day and allowing them to do what they do best, take care of HomeSimply’s customers. Steve knows that a mortgage is most likely the largest financial transaction a consumer will have, and the process can be intimidating and overwhelming. His goal is to make the process as simple as possible, financially beneficial, and fun for HomeSimply customers. Steve’s goal is to earn lifelong customers that only think of HomeSimply when it comes to mortgage needs. He is married to his amazing wife Melissa and has 4 awesome children: Eden, Drue, Coen, and Maddy. In his spare time, Steve loves Florida beaches, traveling, and watching his local sports teams.
